KosICT Tech Festival 2017

KosICT started as a regional conference with the aim to bring the global IT trending topic to the Balkans, by bringing the experience and knowledge of international, regional and local experts, and at the same time promoting the Kosovo ICT sector.

On 27th and 28th of October 2017, the Kosovo ICT Association (STIKK), in partnership with Innovation Centre Kosovo (ICK) and Universum College, organized KosICT 2017- which took place at the Palace of Youth and Sports in Prishtina. Topics that covered KosICT 2017 were: Blockchain, AR, SaaS, FinTech, IoT, VR and AI, E-Commerce, Security Wearables, Digital Marketing, Autonomous Cars, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Bitcoin, etc. The venue was separated in two halls. One was called Red hall, were all the speeches and discussion panels where held and attendees had the opportunity to be part of sessions relevant to their fields of interest. The other hall was called the Innovation Corner, where different startups joined to share their projects.

Discussion Panels were great Opportunity to get the attention and engagement of both parties: speakers and audience. The speakers had debates, discussions and communication with the public, while sharing their broad perspective on each topic of their interest. During the two days of KosICT 2017, there were 26 speakers attending the conference from renowned companies such as IPKO, Electronic Arts (EA), World Summit AI, Inbot, Gjirafa, Musala Soft, Adaptivit, Cacttus, Cryptelo, ULedger and Trekandi. Additionally, KosICT 2017 featured also an exclusive executive business lounge which occurred during the whole two-days on 27th and 28th of October. KosICT17 not only gave a chance to the participants to get introduced to business opportunities, but also learn from the stories of some of the most prominent leader figures. The attendees enjoyed the showcases of Kosovo’s and international tech companies while taking advantage of the access to network with entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders, and innovators. The conference had an estimate of 2000+ participants.
